FAST FOOD 2026, Second Helping

I attended exclusively Catholic schools from elementary school through graduate school for twenty-three consecutive years, 1946-1969. All these schools were well regarded academically by the secular world. All were operated and primarily staffed by religious Sisters, Brothers or Priests, and in all things Catholic were subject to oversight by the local Bishop. Yet, in all these years I was never once taught the historical fact about Catholicism written on the scroll above, nor was any other Catholic of my age group, or any age group. Why? Why? Why in the name of God, why? Why did the leaders of the institutional Catholic Church on earth intentionally withhold this historical fact about this most legitimate Way of Catholic Christian consciousness and Way of living a good Catholic life from every Catholic it could? And why for the most part, does the leadership of the institutional Church still do this today! Why? Does quashing knowledge about a 300 year long genuine Christian witness to fidelity to  “loving as Jesus loved” serve to glorify God as revealed by Jesus or help save souls?
