FAST FOOD AD 2025: Eighth Helping

Did God, in saving the world through Jesus, arbitrarily allow Jesus’ death by murderous homicidal violence? Did Jesus, at the cost of everything, answer this violence with nonviolence, this cruelty with compassion, this hate with love because He could not think of anything else to do or because He was ignorant of how Jews and Gentiles justified homicidal self-defense? Let us not be absurd. Jesus responded as He did because He knew “God is love.” and the will of God who is love, must be to love as God loves on earth as is so done in heaven. Jesus is clear, “I come only to do the will of my Father.” Hence, Jesus’ “New Comandment” to His disciples is to  “Love one another as I have loved you.” For thereby, they too will be doing the will of God who is love, on earth as it is done in heaven.
