When any rich and powerful institution holds up before the eyes of Church leaders all the good things it can help the Church accomplish in this world, with their enticing possibilities—and says, “All these I will give you, if…” then those being addressed should hear the warning voice of God demanding their undivided loyalty: “I am the Lord your God, you shall have no other gods besides me…The Lord your God alone, shall you serve”
