Although Pope John Paul, the American Bishops and Vatican II all seem to have accepted the principle that there are some things worth killing for, and that lethal self-defense is sometimes justifiable, they are only listening to the voices of flesh and blood.
Do you know of anything in the teaching or life of Jesus which justifies killing another human being?
It is time to make up our minds and take the only stand toward lethal violence which can be based on the teaching of Jesus Christ. It is time to agree that a Christian may never kill another human being for any reason at all!

God is pleased with nothing but love.
One act of pure love is more precious in the eyes of God
and of the soul, and more profitable to the Church,
than all the good works together,
though it may seem as nothing.”
– St. John of the Cross
