Blaming the Victim, an Old and Traditional Trumped-Up Deception when Government Murder Comes to Light

January 14, 2026admin'Special Topics, Action Against Violence

The Reagan Administration in 1980 perpetrated a smear campaign to try to blame the four slain Catholic Churchwomen for their own deaths. Top Reagan adviser Jeane Kirkpatrick shocked and infuriated the victim’s loved ones and a goodly proportion of the world when she declared, “the nuns were not just nuns, they were political activists,” as if that somehow excused raping and executing them. Secretary of State Alexander Haig said the women were involved in a shootout with Salvadoran authorities! Adding insult to injury, the Reagan State Department billed Jean Donovan’s family $3,500 for the return of her beaten and raped body—a body that was alive, vibrant and full of love and care until El Salvadorean military thugs, trained by the U.S. at the School of Americas at Fort Benning, Georgia, (a now established fact) molested, mauled and murder her.

Blaming Renee Good for her own murder by  U.S. government officials calling her a “terrorist” who “violently, willfully and viciously ran over an ICE officer who killed her in self defense” by shooting through an open driver side window point blankly in her face is on a par with Haig proclaiming to the world that Sr. Maura Clarke, Sr. Ita Ford, Sr. Dorothy Kazel and Jean Donovan were killed because they were in a gunfight with the El Salvador military.

The issue is not Trump or Reagan, they are but the  immediate poor souls serving evil by their lust for power. The issue is the institutional structure of what is called the state, which is dependent upon and created to do the work of the “the father of lies who is a liar and murder from the beginning“—and its mindless support by Christians and others who refuse to look at its mandatory universal modus operandi, because they know if they do they will not see what they want to see. But instead will see an institution that cannot be managed without violence, deceit, corruption, greed, oppression, enmity and propaganda, and human beings willing, indeed eager, to engage is one or all of these evil because it will benefit them.

Hosanna in the highest!

Blessed is He, Who comes in the Name of the Lord.

Hosanna in the highest!”

About Us

The full embracing of Gospel Nonviolence calls for a radical alteration in thought patterns, verbal patterns, behavioral patterns, and emotional patterns. That is, it requires a completely different reality orientation and self-understanding.
