A Church in Chain$

President Trump just renewed bombing Iran on June 10, 2026. What are the U.S. Catholic Bishops going to say to those Catholics in line to execute this bombing, remembering that the war on Iran is 100% an unjust war by Catholic moral standards, just war or nonviolence, and has been declared so publicly by three ranking U.S. Catholic Cardinal and the Catholic military Archbishop of the U.S. This means that this bombing operation in Iran is outright mass murder.

More than likely the U.S. Catholic Bishops will park their gluteus maximus on their episcopal throne and wait for the next news cycle to divert attention from the savagery of the industrial, high tech, unjustified death and suffering being poured down on innocent children, women and men in Iran by Catholics in the military and in the U.S. Government.  And, they will sit in deadly silence as they recently sat in deadly silence as U.S. Catholics ravaged the innocent by the millions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria for 18 years.

As a Catholic I would hope that the U.S. Bishops would be as straightforwardly clear in telling Catholics employed by the U.S. Government to, “Stop,” killing innocent human beings in Iran as they are straightforwardly clear in telling Catholics to,”Stop,”. killing innocent human beings in the womb. And, backing the “stop” up by excommunication, denial of the Sacraments.  I doubt that this hope will ever be a reality in my time because of the chain of tens of billions of dollars a year given by the U.S. Government to the institutional Catholic Church, which hogties and enslaves the Catholic Bishops to silence in the face of the United States military using Catholics en masse to murder people en masse.
